Cherry vodka
Hi all,
Can't seem to find any information on this so perhaps you guys can help.
I haven't been organised this year and realised I have no sloe gin etc on the go so .....
I was thinking how about! say, cheeries from cans.
I've half filled two bottles with drained pitted black cheeries in light syrup. Added surger, er, about 2tbls and topped up with vodka.
Sound any good?
What other supermarket canned stuff could one use?
Thanks

I have made lychee vodka using the same method as you and let it steep for about 3 weeks, giving it a swirl whilst steeping approximately every other day. it was extremely nice. the drunken lychees also made a good pudding with yogurt - albeit rather alcoholic!!!
