lorraine pascal made an appearance.....
......on masterclass of masterchef australia (s4ep30).....and she made a mojito genoise...looked really good....if you want to give the thing a go, here is a link to the recipe--

had not seen her since home cooking made easy.....
a concern i had was about the level of poncey ( i hope that is spelled right) food....the bald guy chef (whose name escapes me at the moment) did a dish of salmon 2 ways, 1 was a cannoli with fresh salmon as the "pasta" and the other was a piece of salmon done "sous vide" style then coated in sesame seeds.......this seems like 2 or 3 star dining versus simple, good old fashioned home cooking,,,what i wonder is unless you worked a starred restaurant, would you ever consider making something like this.....it was interesting to watch but beyond that, i would stick with the cake....and that is my 57 cents (it used to be 2 cents as the expression goes but with inflation and all......)
