Question Mark and The Mysterions

Postby Sakkarin » Thu Apr 26, 2012 11:17 am

Anyone got a suggestion for a replacement for the stupid question mark avatar for people who haven't uploaded a piccy for their profile?

I was tempted to upload my rolling eye pic, to prompt people to upload something more personalised (and to wind up HungryHousewife and IrishCountryCousin :-) ).

I also thought of loading dear old Tom, the default bloke from MySpace.

Probably end up with something fairly innocuous, think I'll pinch the TinTin silhouette from Facebook.

Hmmm! Still trying to upload my piccie - got it resized to 21kb, but when I click the 'choose' button, it vanishes.
I put it on a word doc to resize it. Could this be why I can't import it?

Desperate to get it on the page, incase you decide to use your 'rolling eye' tactics!! :ugeek:

Probably, try amending the size in "Paint" instead. If all else fails, mail me the image and I'll see if I can do it this end.

Hi Sakkarin,

I've found an avatar (or 2, or 3, or more) on the free avatar link you posted. I don't know what to do now though. I am still completely bewildered by/on (?) some "apps" :-)

Spent a long, long time and only got to 150!!!

Hi HH: Sakkarin is right. I modified the size in Paint too. I had to go look for it because I use Picasa and they don't do such small sizes. It took me a while, but finally managed. :P

Sakkarin! that is Kuifje!! :D
