Re: Kebab fun
Pass me the smelling salts
Doner kebab does not containf beef or yogurt. Ever. And no real kebab contains processed cheese slices
There's a double arrangement like this about 20 metres away from me, one traditional lamb, one chicken. Dairy free. Yes, hard to tell the difference between doner and shawarma

Not sure what I think about beef and cheese "doner", since a pitta pocket bread is far more sensible than a stacked burger bun that's impossible to eat. Mind you, meat with cheese is odd to me (fish with cheese even more so) irrespective of any religious considerations, but if it's what sells, then why not?
The biggest shame is perhaps the tendency to make everything finish up the same, like having baked beans with everything or in the UK chips with everything so losing the unique character of the "star", thus not so much fusion as all becoming indistinguishable melting pot grub. But if it sells...
