We keep / use the glass ramekins that Gu desserts come in, for mise en place, but they're not the handy half cup and one cup sizes...

I use the ceramic containers from Pots & Co desserts for breakfasts and treats for my rats

Thanks for your suggestions. Thinking about it, most people would use larger containers, as they would usually cook for two or more, whereas I am just cooking for one.
The closest I've come to the size are Tiger Tiger shot glasses at 50p each, but it's the shape as well: in practice I have dozens of different usable containers.
I ended up buying a pack of Poundland Votives at 3 for £1 (at the back here unboxed, slightly smaller than previous similar votives I bought, sitting in front of it), but it's still the little conical ones I want
