What's the best equipment for home sausage making?
Having ground the meat and seasoned it, I have found that sausage tubes on mincers don't work well. They don't generally have the force needed. So I use the tubes and teaspoons and dowels,...and lots of mess Is there a reasonably priced sausage filler for home use? I only ever want to make four or five pounds of them. Many thanks.

I do use a hand mincer, and find it fine,(but then again I tend to supervise and make children turn the handle)
I buy the sort of dried casings, you have to leave the sausages a few hours to rest after making, but as we normally make to freeze this isn't a problem. I buy all my bits and pieces from here
